History of Lane Hospitality

Lane Hospitality, a division of Lane Industries, is a Northbrook, Illinois-based hospitality company that has successfully owned and managed hotel properties for more than 30 years. 

Formed by the Lane family with just three hotels in 1986, the company acquired Sunbelt Hotels – a Houston-based management company with 15 hotels – in 1993, and Victor Management – a Newport News, VA-based management company with 27 hotels – in 1995.  Since then, Lane has proudly managed nearly 100 distinct properties in markets across the U.S. in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest.  In addition to premium independent full service hotels, its various flags are associated with such leading brands as Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Hyatt, Carlson and Choice.
