John J. Marko, Jr. Vice President of Hotel Performance.  During his 25-plus year career in the hospitality industry, John J. Marko has held prominent positions in various associations including President of the Jackson, Mississippi Hotel Motel Association; Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the Chicago Holiday Inn Co-Op; Board member of the Illinois Hotel Motel Association, Skokie Chamber of Commerce, and the Full Service Committee of Intercontinental Hotels Group. 

 

John earned a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and is a member of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen. He was named a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) by the American Hotel Motel Association and completed the General Manager Program of Holiday Inn University. He was honored with the Modernization Award from Holiday Inn Worldwide for the renovation of the Holiday Inn Des Plaines, IL.
